Story Board

1. intro to the organization:

 Tribal Connect is committed to helping tribal communities by addressing their problems of poor education, lack of basic infrastructure, and absence of health facilities & helps to stabilize their income sources and structure.

2. How org is helping as relief work:

 The community members are working on the ground for 20 days to help the people of Assam in such hard times. The unending rain has raised the water level in the Brahmaputra River and its tributaries, flooding villages. Barpeta district in Lower Assam is the worst hit. Silchar, West KarbiAnglong, Hojai, and Nagaon are the worst affected.
The Assam state disaster management authority has said more than 4 million people have been affected of which 1 million were children. The loss of life and property is massive and basic meals and supplies are hard to come by. All the volunteers are on the ground helping the residents survive the dreadful impact of the flood. Relief works are going on for 20 days, organization is providing food by preparing food in the community kitchen for women and infants. Sanitary pads and diapers are also provided to the people to survive through this difficult time with health and hygiene. The community hall is patched and is the roof for all the work the organization does.

3. Utilization of funds: We need funds to feed, buy utilities required to prepare food, and to cater the victims with dry grocery kits.
